Tages-Anzeiger : Software for tracking crimes

2009 has been a promising year so far for semantic system. After presenting at the Red Herring North America event the newspaper Tages-Anzeiger featured an article on us.

The blurb reads:

The success of the small company Semantic Systems located in Glattbrugg, Switzerland, is based on a new software which can match patterns – finger prints, signatures financial charts – or shoe tracks. The software can identify burglars with the help of shoe tracks.

UC San Diego invited semantic system ag to deliver a speech to the UCSD students and professors. At the talk, semantic introduced ai-one™. The two parties agreed on a future collaboration and are looking forward to helping semantic system establish a base in San Diego.

The request for more intelligence in computing is huge. semantic system is invited to present the technology at the annual conference of the security network org. in San Diego. A very well known incubators organization and event where new technologies are presented to large corporations and to the Government.

Red Herring announced on April 3, 2009 that semantic systems ag was awarded the Red Herring 100 Europe. Red Herring’s lists of top private companies are an important part of the publication’s tradition of identifying new and innovative technology companies and entrepreneurs.
