Have we surmounted the uncanny valley?

The latest modell of Kokoro is the first Geminoid outside Japan. The Geminoid is modeled after Danish Professor Henrik Scharfe. Henrik Scharfe intends to investigate with the help of the robot “emotional affordances in human-robot interaction, the novel notion of blended presence, as well as cultural differences (from different continents) in the perception of robots”.
